25 interesting facts about Muah :)

So I just filled out this little list on "25 things about me" on Facebook. It was pretty dang entertaining to actually write down interesting facts about my life. If you haven't filled one out yet, you should. It's fun :) So here goes the long list. You ready??

1) My middle name is Gene after my beautiful Grandma Bonnie...I miss her a lot. I also have two other cousins with the same middle name :) We pass it on from generation to generation.
2) I married the best man in the world and also my best friend from childhood, Jared Keith Asendorf on June 21, 2008 in the San Diego Temple! It was the sweetest day of our lives <3
3) I didn't enjoy Utah very much when I first moved up here, and moving away from sunny So Cal, but I love it now! Housing prices are so much more affordable and, Jared and I enjoy being more outdoors-ie together. We're having a lot of fun!
4) I'm hooked on the show LOST :) It's definitely a show that makes you think!
5) I had an amazing piano teacher when I was little, Mrs. Rothman...she was a little Italian lady that insisted that I practice for at least an hour or more a day. I didn't used to like that advice...lol, but I appreciate her a lot more today and enjoy being able to play those harder classical pieces. Now my husband has to force me to stop playing when I get going!
6) I love "trying" to be artsy and crafty :) I hand-made all of our Christmas cards this last year and it was a TON of fun!!
7) During the summer Jared and I went sea-fishing with is dad, and I caught my first fish ever! It was over 12 inches long...Haha, it was sweet and a good workout! Jared's dad caught his first sting ray too!! It was amazing and freaked the crap out of me at the same time!!
8) I ate my first sushi this last November and I swear I'll never eat that stuff again! I about barfed when it came time to eat the fish eggs :-P
9) Since I've married my best friend, many people we are getting to know pronounce our last name as "Ass-en-dorf," instead of "Ace-en-dorf." Lol...it's pretty sweet.
10) I love learning of my ancestry and where I came from. I'd love to start doing more genealogy work!
11) Jared's family came from Europe on the Mayflower, as well as mine...so...we're hoping we're not related..Haha..
12) I have Danish, English and Scottish heritage in my line. However, I did find out that we may have a little middle-eastern blood in us on my mom's side of the family tree! It's fun to find that stuff out.
13) I love to sing! My brother Dan and I pretend we're opera singers a lot, and I secretly dream of being Kristine (the star lady in the Phantom of the Opera) :)
14) I have webbed feet and double-jointed fingers :D
15) I am a Primary teacher in my ward for the CTR-7 class, and love those little kids! They are so cute and teach me a lot!!
16) I don't know were I'd be without my belief in the gospel. It is a HUGE strength to me in my life.
17) I realize that the only things that truly matter in life, are the FOREVER things.
18) Taking pictures, making memories and scrap-booking is A LOT of fun :)
19) I can't wait to be a mommy, and would love getting more education in the department of Interior decorating :) I love to decorate and making things beautiful!
20) My husband and I both race our RC cars and I'm going to spray paint mine HOT PINK soon :-D Vroom Vroom!!
21) If I were to pick an era to live in...it would probably have to be the 1920's (like in the Great Gatsby...only there would be no weirdos)...hehe...I love the glam of that era!
22) I love to travel and visit different places when I can. I've currently been to Chile, to pic my brother up from his mission, New York city with Chelsea Montgomery an awesome girlfriend of mine, and other western states in the US. I would LOVE to travel to Europe and visit places where my ancestors are from :) And I'd love for my husband and I to travel to Mexico City one day (where he served his mission for 2 years)...that would be rock awesome!
23) I enjoy working out and am trying this new thing called...eating healthy ;) However, I do miss my chocolate!
